I was born in Lethbridge and was raised on the family farm just south of Picture Butte. My career began as a pressure welder working in Nobleford and Calgary, but my love of farming brought me back to Picture Butte. My wife Willa and I purchased our own farm on which we raised our three children, Leeon, Tracey and Kelly. Once the children were grown I sold the farm and turned to real estate. I have also had a real estate office in Picture Butte for approximately 20 years. My knowledge of farming is an asset, considering I sell primarily farms and ranches.

My true passion lies in the waters off the West Coast. Salmon fishing has taken me to the Queen Charlotte Islands several times on charters. A friend and I are now partners in a 27 foot fishing boat, outfitted with equipment for everything from fishing equipment to prawn and crab traps. When I am not fishing I enjoy camping with Willa in our 5th wheel.
